Almost Angels is a new episodic faith-and-family comedy series being produced by JCFilms Studios. The series was created to bring something fresh to faith-based entertainment: a funny, youthful adventure that uses comedy, friendship, and the everyday struggles of teenage girls to explore biblical truths about purpose, identity, temptation, faith, and God's plan.
Almost Angels takes that mission in a new direction through an ongoing episodic story where each adventure can introduce a new lesson, a new assignment, and plenty of heavenly chaos.
THE STORY
Four very different teenage girls - Madison, Emma, Grace, and Bri - suddenly find themselves at a mysterious guardian training camp hidden deep in the Appalachian Mountains.
There's only one problem. They're dead.
And an even bigger problem: Heaven wants them to become guardian angels.
Under the direction of veteran guardian Dorothy, the girls are put through a series of unusual and often hilarious training exercises designed to teach them Scripture, compassion, courage, discernment, sacrifice, and what it really means to put someone else's needs before their own.
They aren't exactly model recruits. They argue. They compete. They question everything. They fail; a lot. But somewhere along the way, four girls who never would have been friends on Earth begin becoming a team.
Just when they think they have years of training ahead of them, Heaven suddenly faces an unexpected emergency involving a wildly popular new boy band and thousands of teenage girls who apparently have forgotten all common sense.
The trainees are needed. Immediately. Ready or not, Madison, Emma, Grace, and Bri receive their first assignments. Because sometimes God doesn't wait until we're ready. Sometimes the assignment is what makes us ready. And these girls aren't angels yet. They're Almost Angels.
