If you’re ages 12 – 17 and have an interest in faith and family films, then these Summer Camps are for you!

These camps were created for young people to experience all aspects of Christin filmmaking while being in an actual film. This wonderful summertime experience allows every camper to be cast in the movie and/or a T.V. series called AFTERMATH!

During a JCFilms Film Camp, teens are given the opportunity to spend time working directly with film professionals to help advance their film goals while making a Christian film. These weeklong experiences not only offer an exciting hands-on approach to filmmaking, but each camper gets a role in the film!

This years film project is called AFTERMATH and will be divided into two separate productions. One is the FEATURE FILM AFTERMATH that will be produced during the June 15 – 22 camp.

And the second, is the TELEVISION SERIES AFTERMATH that will stream exclusively on JC+. The television series AFTERMATH will be produced during the June 22 – 29 camp.

AFTERMATH tells a story that is often overlooked in many Christian rapture films. Picture this, it's a post-rapture world, and the Mark of the Beast is a hand implant that serves as credit card and ID. It's illegal to worship God and those without the implant find survival nearly impossible. But when a group of teens realize this was the promised Biblical rapture, they start an underground society in rural West Virginia to protect against the evil.

Sound exciting? In addition, both AFTERMATH productions will star actor Dean Cain. So, whether you’re an aspiring actor, creative writer, or an ambitious young filmmaker this camp is for you!

Why?

TO INSPIRE young people to get involved in faith-based films.

TO PROVIDE an atmosphere of creativity and opportunity.

TO ALLOW campers to be cast in a feature film or television production.

What To Expect?

Each camper will be cast in AFTERMATH.

Each camper will attend acting classes and go on mock training casting auditions.

Each camper will work opposite with so many talented Christian actors.

AFTERMATH - The Movie - June 15- 22, 2024. Campers are expected to arrive at the camp no later than 2pm on Saturday, June 15th. Camp concludes on the morning of Saturday, June 22nd after breakfast. CURRENTLY SOLD OUT

Where are the Campers Staying?

BOTH FILM CAMPS for AFTERMATH will be hosted at Camp Faith Ministries in Shinnston, WV. 321 Co Rte 73/2, Shinnston, WV 26431. 321 Sugar Camp Road.

Cost?

The total cost of $880 covers all meals, lodging, classes and helps in the production of the film. A $200 deposit is due to Register. The remainder of the camp fee will be due the day of camp registration.

What about the parents?

Parents will be staying at Courtyard Marriott - Bridgeport, WV. Be sure to tell them you are with FILM CAMP. We are also offering the opportunity for parents to stay at the camp for $250 per adult. Call for details.

Film Camp is designed for teens 12 to 17.

Production & script?

Soon after you register, you will be sent the information to view the scripts, cast rosters, shoot schedules and production notes. This private portal allows campers and parents to stay informed all the way up to production.
