Two of the most recognizable faces in faith-based entertainment, Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, are joining forces once again in a new inspirational feature film, The Holy One is a heartfelt story that brings together golf, grace, and second chances.

 

Written and directed by Dean Cain, The Holy One follows the story of Dustin McCroy, a once-promising golfer now drowning in alcoholism and hustling for scraps at the Stonewood Country Club, is about to hit rock bottom. He makes a high-stakes bet with the wrong person, putting his family, his reputation, and even his life on the line.

 ​

“This movie is about more than just golf,” says Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms Studios. “It’s about how we sometimes find our greatest purpose in the places we least expect, on the course, in our communities, and through the people God puts in our path.”

We’re inviting the Las Vegas community to be part of the faith-based inspirational film The Holy One by joining us as background extras for a special pickup shoot on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Participants should plan to be on set for approximately three hours. This is a unique opportunity to step onto a real movie set and appear on screen in a powerful story of redemption, golf, and second chances, written and directed by Dean Cain and starring Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo.

 

No prior experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to be part of a meaningful, faith-and-family production.
