In 2026, JC Films Studios is launching a brand-new Faith & Family Acting and Production Studio in North Canton, Ohio. Our mission is simple: equip and train people of faith to become more involved in Christian filmmaking.

As part of this expansion, the JCFilms Studios North Canton Production Club will produce four faith-and-family films in the North Canton area throughout 2026. To prepare, we are offering a four-week intensive acting & production training program designed to get aspiring actors, families, and local creatives ready for future opportunities in Christian film.

For more than a decade, JCFilms has produced over 100 faith- and family-friendly films, partnering with actors such as Dean Cain, Eddie McClintock and Kevin Sorbo, while offering thousands of people the chance to participate in Christian moviemaking.

The basics of acting & the getting involved.

JANUARY 24, SATURDAY - ACTION
Scene study and script analysis as we explore and develop the actor's artistic tools: body, voice and imagination.

JANUARY 31, SATURDAY - AUDITIONING
Get a basic understanding of the audition process plus learn valuable  audition techniques to help you stand out.

FEBRUARY 7, SATURDAY - APPLY
Here is your complete step by step process on how to start acting in faith based movies and television.
