Starring Karen Abercrombie (War Room) and Kevin Sorbo (God’s Not Dead), Our Amazing Grace is more than a film, it’s a mission. This project is designed to challenge churches and people of faith to take a more active role in foster care at a time when the crisis is only getting worse in America.

 

By highlighting the urgent need for loving foster homes, the film aims to inspire action and bring hope to children who desperately need stability and love.

The film follows a family who leaves Puerto Rico and moves to Florida in search of a better life. Along the way, they are confronted with the harsh realities of America’s foster care system and discover a deeper calling: to open their hearts and home to children in need.

 

At the center of the story is Grace, a young girl who has endured the uncertainty of moving in and out of foster care. Her journey toward healing and belonging becomes a moving testimony of faith, family, and redemption.

Production for Our Amazing Grace will take place in Orlando, Florida, in February 2026, marking the 10th film JCFilms has produced in Orlando. ​
