After receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, widowed father Ben Carter decides to spend his remaining time giving his twelve year old son one unforgettable adventure. Together, they travel across Florida visiting spring training communities before Opening Day, meeting extraordinary people whose wisdom teaches life lessons that extend far beyond the game of baseball.
Along the journey, Luke discovers that baseball is not simply about winning. It is about character, family, faith, community, legacy, and hope.
