JCFilms Studios Brings Faith & Family Films to Las Vegas

Star-Studded Feature The Holy One to Shoot July 23 – August 4, 2025

Las Vegas, NV (June 2025) — JCFilms Studios, a faith-and-family film production company renowned for uplifting Christian stories, returns to Las Vegas next summer to shoot its newest feature, The Holy One. Principal photography runs July 29 – August 1, 2025, on location and the all-star cast includes:

  • Dean Cain (Clark Kent/Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman)

  • Kevin Sorbo (Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys)

  • Robert Amaya (seen in Courageous and Like Arrows)

  • Justin Leonard (PGA Tour champion and 1997 Open Championship winner)

“Vegas isn’t just for adults anymore,” says JCFilms president Jason Campbell. “Nearly 25 percent of last year’s visitors traveled with kids—and we’ve discovered a community eager for faith-centered, family-friendly storytelling.”

To date, JCFilms has produced five faith-and-family films in Las Vegas, partnering with local churches, community groups, and most recently, leading resorts and casinos to bring Christian narratives to life against the city’s world-class backdrop.

Las Vegas is evolving to attract more families by redeveloping the Strip with kid-friendly attractions, interactive museums, family-oriented shows, and residential neighborhoods.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reports a steady rise in multigenerational tourism as the city broadens its appeal beyond gaming.

"By filming The Holy One here and leveraging premier resorts and casino venues, JCFilms Studios is not only telling an inspiring story but also reinforcing Las Vegas’s transformation into a true family destination," says Campbell.

About The Holy One

Caleb Mitchell, once a rising golf phenom, has hit rock bottom, his career derailed by addiction and regret, he now hustles at the rundown Silver Downs Country Club. With his family, reputation, and very life on the line, Caleb stakes it all on one final, high-stakes bet and leans on a band of faithful mentors to guide him back, both on and off the fairway.

Looking Ahead

Over the next year, JCFilms Studios will produce three more feature-length films in Las Vegas, each crafted in partnership with local churches, community organizations, and major resort and casino partners. The studio will host open casting calls, crew-training workshops, and youth film camps, providing hands-on experience to aspiring filmmakers of all ages.

With a blend of Hollywood veterans, authentic Las Vegas locations, and a growing family tourism market, JCFilms Studios aims to establish Las Vegas not just as the world’s entertainment capital, but as the new epicenter for faith-and-family filmmaking.
