JCFilms Studios Invites Movie Lovers to Star in Three Feature Films During One Unforgettable Nashville Weekend

NASHVILLE, TN — Why be in one movie when you can be part of three? JCFilms Studios is bringing a unique filmmaking adventure to Music City, offering aspiring actors, families, and movie enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in three feature films during a single weekend, February 5–8, 2027.

Called “The Nashville Movie Triple,” this special On-Set Movie Experience will bring participants together to help complete three faith and family films: Our Amazing Grace, On Air, and Charmin.

Each production is already approximately 80 percent complete, with additional scenes and final filming scheduled to take place during the Nashville weekend.

“This is something we've never done quite like this before,” said JCFilms Studios President Jason Campbell. “We're bringing three different feature films together for one incredible weekend and giving everyday people the opportunity to be part of all three. It's going to be a lot of filmmaking, a lot of fun, and an experience people won't forget.”

Three Movies, Three Incredible Stories

The weekend will feature three distinctly different productions, each with its own cast, storyline, and inspirational message.

Our Amazing Grace, starring Kevin Sorbo and Karen Abercrombie, is an emotional drama inspired by a true story that explores foster care, family, and the life-changing power of unconditional love. The film follows a young girl whose journey demonstrates how compassion and faith can transform lives.

On Air, starring Dean Cain and Eddie McClintock, brings a lighter touch to the weekend. This heartwarming comedy follows a former Hollywood actor who returns home and unexpectedly discovers a second chance behind the microphone of a struggling late-night radio station. Filled with humor, friendship, and unexpected opportunities, the movie reminds audiences that life's greatest comebacks often happen when least expected.

Charmin, starring Karen Abercrombie and Larra Donaldson, is a powerful faith-based drama about a successful professional whose unexpected encounter with a mysterious homeless woman leads to an extraordinary journey of prayer, redemption, and spiritual discovery.

Together, the three films represent the variety of storytelling that has become a hallmark of JCFilms Studios.

From Movie Fan to Movie Cast Member

Unlike traditional film productions, where opportunities to participate can be difficult to find, JCFilms Studios has built its mission around opening the doors of filmmaking to everyday people.

Participants registering for The Nashville Movie Triple will receive guaranteed on-camera roles in all three productions, although roles may or may not include speaking parts. The experience also includes IMDb film credits, three nights of hotel accommodations, meals with cast and crew, and hands-on participation in the filmmaking process.

No previous acting experience is required and the experience welcomes adults, teenagers, children, grandparents, and families interested in creating lasting memories together.

An Action-Packed Weekend in Music City

Participants will arrive in Nashville on Friday, February 5, with hotel check-in beginning at noon. The afternoon will include an orientation and welcome session with the JCFilms production team, followed by dinner with cast and crew and an evening kickoff gathering.

Saturday, February 6, will launch the first full day of filming, beginning at 10 a.m. Participants will work on scenes for the three feature films, enjoy lunch on set with the production team, and continue filming throughout the afternoon.

Sunday, February 7, will feature another full day of production, including additional scenes, final shots, and opportunities to experience the filmmaking process firsthand. The weekend will conclude with a farewell dinner celebrating the completion of the experience.

Participants will check out of their hotel on Monday, February 8, and head home with new friendships, behind-the-scenes memories, and the distinction of having participated in three feature films in one weekend.
