JCFilms Studios Offers Exclusive On-Set Movie Experience in NorthCanton, Ohio.

JCFilms Studios North Canton Production Club is rolling cameras once again, and this time, they’re inviting the public to join in on the action.

The production of ON AIR, the club’s third faith and family feature film, will begin filming in Canton this year, starring Dean Cain (God’s Not Dead, Lois & Clark) and Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13). As part of a new initiative to engage the local community, the studio is offering a rare and immersive On-Set Movie Experience, giving participants the chance to appear in the film and spend two full days on location.

Participants will receive a guaranteed speaking role in a scene with Dean Cain, lunch on set with Eddie McClintock, and a private dinner with JCFilms founder and producer Jason Campbell. The experience also includes two nights of hotel accommodations, all meals during production, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

“Faith films have always been about real stories and real people,” says Campbell. “What better way to celebrate that than by letting people step into the story themselves?”

ON AIR tells the redemptive story of Jack Malone, a former professional baseball star whose career has fallen apart due to addiction and regret. Forced to return to his small hometown, he finds unlikely redemption as the late-night host of a failing talk radio station—where a quirky cast of coworkers, the healing power of storytelling, and a second chance at faith begin to transform his life.

Described as a heartfelt blend of drama and nostalgia with echoes of WKRP in Cincinnati, the film continues JCFilms Studios’ mission to produce faith-based, family-friendly content that uplifts and inspires. The North Canton chapter, in particular, has become a thriving creative hub, producing annual films that feature nationally recognized talent while highlighting local people and places.
