My Birthday Wish...
(And No, I'm Still Not Telling My Age!)
On Friday, July 10, I celebrate another birthday. How old will I be? Nice try.
I've never really done one of these birthday fundraiser posts before,
but I figured... why not?
If you know me, you know two things are true:

I'm going to keep making as many faith and family films as I possibly can.

I'm going to keep finding ways to get as many people involved in Christian filmmaking as possible.
What started as a small idea has grown into something incredibly exciting.
With Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain enthusiastically supporting the project, we believe this film can inspire families across America.
But here's the honest truth... This isn't just a movie. It's a passion project. It's a prayer project. And it's a project we're still working hard to fund.
So this year, if you'd like to give me a birthday present, instead of buying me socks (which, let's be honest, I probably need), or another coffee mug that says "World's Greatest Filmmaker" (debatable ), would you consider giving $5... $10... $20... $50... or even $100 toward helping us bring The Liberty Lantern to life?
Every year I see people asking for birthday donations to their favorite charities. I thought about doing that...but then I realized I already have a cause that's been on my heart for years. I've always dreamed of creating an animated feature film. That dream is now becoming The Liberty Lantern.
Every dollar will go directly toward making this film.
I truly believe America is an incredible country. Yet somewhere along the way, too many young people have been told otherwise. My hope is that this film reminds the next generation that our nation is worth loving, worth serving, and worth believing in.
That's my birthday wish.
To make a movie that inspires hope.
To tell a story that matters.
