A New Film Captures Authentic Christianity

NUN NANCY is not your quintessential Christian movie. But rather, a heartfelt depiction of the Christian life lived through imperfect people. This combination is not typical for JCFilms; however, they hope this evangelical, honest approach will not only resonated with more people but as always glorify God.

The feature film is based on a true story and stars Taryn Manning as the young and valuable Nun Nancy. Manning is of course known for portraying Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett in the Netflix original series ‘Orange Is the New Black.’ Manning is a born again Christian and has agreed to appear in several upcoming faith-inspired projects produced by JCFilms.

“A lot of Christian films depicting life are very one-dimensional and very, well, unrealistic. I make a lot of these films myself. However, recently I see more Christians ready for a different representation of their faith beyond what we as Christian film makers are creating,” says Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms.

NUN NANCY is about divine intervention and divine appointment. It follows the heartfelt ministry of a passionate woman of God that served the inner city of Baltimore, MD disguised as a bartender, so that she could more effectively share God’s love to the drunks and prostitutes. It’s authentic Christianity.

Production begins August 2020 in Bridgeport, WV,
