JCFilms Studios Announces Passion Project: J6 POD. A Bold New Film Exploring Faith, Forgiveness, and the Human Story Behind January 6.

Bridgeport, WV — JCFilms Studios, known for producing thought-provoking faith-based movies, has announced production on its latest feature film, J6 POD, a deeply human story inspired by true events surrounding the aftermath of January 6.

While the title may raise eyebrows, filmmakers emphasize that J6 POD is not a political movie. Instead, it’s a film about faith, redemption, and the enduring strength of the human spirit in one of the most divided times in modern American history.

“This isn’t about taking sides,” said Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms Studios. “It’s about telling stories that most people haven’t heard, stories of fathers, veterans, believers, and families whose lives were forever changed. The debate over January 6 will go on, but the human stories behind it deserve to be told.”

The film follows a group of men detained in the D.C. jail in the aftermath of January 6, exploring how their faith and brotherhood sustain them through isolation, doubt, and personal reckoning. While many Americans see the event as a political flashpoint, J6 POD seeks to highlight the spiritual and emotional dimensions like what happens when people are stripped of everything but hope.

“For some, the idea that Americans were held for up to two years without trial is troubling,” Campbell added. “For others, it’s justice. But what we’re trying to do here is bridge the divide and look at the human cost - not the politics.”

Filming for J6 POD will take place January 17th through January 21st in Bridgeport, West Virginia,. The project is described as a “passion piece” for the studio’s film ministry..."a work that aims to use storytelling as a tool for healing and reflection."

“This film is about people. It’s about America. It’s about grace,” Campbell said. “We believe stories like these can spark conversations that help our nation heal.”
