HEAVEN HELP US! JCFilms Wraps First Episode of Exciting New Series ALMOST ANGELS!

A successful West Virginia production launches a fresh faith-and-family comedy adventure, with Episode Two planned for summer 2027!

BRIDGEPORT, WV — That's a wrap! JCFilms Studios has officially completed filming the first episode of Almost Angels, an exciting new faith-and-family comedy series that brings together teenage drama, heavenly adventures, hilarious moments, and powerful biblical truths.

Filmed in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, the production was an amazing experience, bringing together an incredibly talented group of young actors, experienced performers, and a dedicated production team. From the laughter on set to the friendships formed behind the scenes, the first episode was everything JCFilms hoped it would be and more!

Four Girls. One Purpose. Heaven's Gonna Need a Lot of Patience!

Almost Angels follows four very different teenage girls - Madison, Emma, Grace, and Bri, who suddenly find themselves at a mysterious guardian training camp.

There's just one problem. They're dead.

And now Heaven expects them to become guardian angels! Under the guidance of veteran guardian Dorothy, the girls must learn about faith, courage, compassion, sacrifice, and putting others first. Unfortunately, these four aren't exactly Heaven's finest recruits!

They argue, compete, question everything, and fail spectacularly. But through their hilarious adventures, they discover something extraordinary: God can use imperfect people for incredible purposes.

And just when they think they're settling into training, an unexpected emergency involving a wildly popular boy band sends their heavenly assignments into overdrive!

Why This Series Matters

At a time when young people are struggling with identity, insecurity, peer pressure, and finding their purpose, Almost Angels offers something different. It's funny. It's entertaining. It's relatable. And most importantly, it points young people toward Jesus Christ.

Rather than simply preaching a message, the series uses comedy, friendship, and adventure to demonstrate biblical truths in ways that connect with today's generation.

Just as importantly, the production continues JCFilms' mission of giving young performers meaningful opportunities to develop their talents while participating in positive, faith-centered filmmaking.

Episode Two — Here We Come!

Following the tremendous experience of filming the first episode, JCFilms Studios is already preparing for Episode Two, scheduled for summer 2027! The next installment promises more adventures, more laughter, new characters, and even greater opportunities for young people to become involved in Christian filmmaking.

For JCFilms, this is about more than producing another television or movie series. It's about creating entertainment that families can enjoy together while reminding young people that they are loved, they have value, and God has a purpose for their lives.
