JCFilms Studios Announces LOUIE AND PREACHER CUE — A Powerful New Film Honoring Hall of Fame Pool Legend Mike Massey.

JCFilms Studios has officially announced production of Louie and Preacher Cue, a gritty, emotional, faith-driven drama inspired by the extraordinary life and legacy of Hall of Fame pool legend Mike Massey.

Set to film in West Virginia in October 2026, the movie follows Max Harper, a former pool hustler turned prison preacher who is forced back into the dangerous underground world of pool after tragedy shatters his life. Reuniting with his old partner Louie Yates, the two men return to smoky pool halls, high-stakes tournaments, and a world where greed, redemption, faith, and second chances collide.

But LOUIE AND PREACHER CUE is more than just a pool movie. It is a tribute.

A tribute to a man whose life has stretched far beyond billiards tables and championship trophies.

Mike Massey is widely recognized as one of the greatest trick shot artists in history, a multiple-time world champion, Hall of Fame player, veteran, songwriter, minister, and global ambassador for the game of pool. From ESPN and international television appearances to Gospel missions around the world, Mike’s cue stick became more than entertainment... it became a testimony.

“This film is about legacy,” said filmmaker Jason Campbell of JCFilms Studios. “Mike Massey helped shape the world of billiards, but even more importantly, he impacted people through faith, storytelling, and ministry. We wanted to make a movie that captures not only the grit of pool hustling, but also redemption, grace, and the idea that no life is too far gone for a second chance.”

The production will also feature a unique On-Set Movie Experience, allowing fans of billiards, filmmaking, and faith-driven entertainment to step directly into the world of the film. Participants will receive speaking roles, IMDb credit, hotel accommodations, on-set meals, and even free trick shot lessons from Mike Massey himself.
