JCFilms Studios Announces ALMOST ANGELS - A Hilarious New Faith-Filled Episodic Movie Series

BRIDGEPORT, WV — Heaven is apparently hiring and, for reasons that remain questionable, four teenage girls are at the top of the list.

JCFilms Studios is preparing to launch ALMOST ANGELS, a funny new faith-and-family episodic movie series filming its first installment October 27–30, 2026, in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Almost Angels follows Madison, Emma, Grace and Bri, four teenage girls who have absolutely nothing in common except for one fairly significant detail: They're all dead.

After four very different and unexpectedly funny deaths, the girls arrive at Sector Five, a mysterious Guardian Training Camp hidden deep in the Appalachian Mountains.

There they meet Dorothy, a veteran guardian who has been given what may be Heaven's most difficult assignment yet: turning four completely unqualified teenage girls into guardian angels.

Their training includes Scripture, temptation, compassion, courage, sacrifice, scarecrows and the difficult realization that becoming a guardian angel involves considerably more work than simply getting wings and looking good in white. They believe they have years to prepare. They don't.

When a wildly popular new boy band suddenly creates chaos among teenage girls across the country, Heaven experiences a guardian shortage. Training gets cut short, assignments are handed out, and four girls who are absolutely convinced they aren't ready are sent into the field anyway. And that's where the series really begins.

JCFilms Studios is developing Almost Angels as an episodic movie series, with each installment continuing the adventures of the girls as they receive new assignments, encounter new challenges and discover that helping someone navigate life is considerably harder than any training exercise Dorothy could invent.

Each new episode can introduce new characters, new assignments, new problems and plenty of new heavenly chaos, while continuing the friendship and spiritual growth of the original four girls.

“We wanted to create something funny, relatable and unapologetically faith-filled,” said Producer/Director Jason Campbell. “These girls aren't perfect angels. That's the whole point. They're learning, messing up, laughing at each other and discovering that God can use people long before they think they're ready.”
