JCFilms Studios Heads to Las Vegas to Finish Powerful True Story HEELS TO HOLSTER with Dean Cain and Jana Lee Hamblin

LAS VEGAS, NV — JCFilms Studios is inviting audiences from across the country to be part of an unforgettable filmmaking experience as production wraps on the powerful true story HEELS TO HOLSTER in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 24–26, 2026.

Based on the Amazon best-selling memoir by Shirley Watral, HEELS TO HOLSTER tells the gripping and emotional story of a successful IT manager whose promising relationship slowly spiraled into manipulation, stalking, violence, and fear. But at its heart, the film is not simply about abuse, it is about survival, courage, and discovering the warrior within.

The majority of the film was shot in Naples, Florida, but JCFilms Studios says the production is now preparing to “finish the film strong” in Las Vegas with a brand-new cinematic wraparound story featuring Dean Cain and Jana Lee Hamblin.

“We want to honor Shirley the right way,” said JCFilms Studios President Jason Campbell. “This story matters. Domestic violence affects millions of people, and Shirley’s willingness to share her story could help someone else find strength, hope, and the courage to escape a dangerous situation.”

As part of the special Las Vegas filming event, fans and aspiring actors are invited to participate in an exclusive ON-SET-MOVIE-EXPERIENCE where participants will receive a speaking role in the film, IMDb credit, and behind-the-scenes access to the production.

Guests will stay with the cast and crew at a beautiful resort hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, creating a unique opportunity to experience the energy and excitement of filmmaking firsthand while building relationships with industry professionals and fellow participants.

The event will include:

• Guaranteed speaking role in the film

• IMDb credit

• Resort hotel accommodations on the Las Vegas Strip

• Meals during filming

• Time on set with Dean Cain, Jana Lee Hamblin, and the cast

• Behind-the-scenes filmmaking experience

• Networking and mentorship opportunities

Campbell says the final scenes being filmed in Las Vegas are designed to bring emotional closure and cinematic strength to Shirley’s story while creating a film that is both entertaining and impactful.

“This isn’t just another movie,” Campbell said. “This is a story about finding your voice again after fear tried to take it away. We want people to leave inspired, not defeated.”
