LIGHTS, CAMERA… RETIREMENT! JCFILMS KICKS OFF 2027 IN SUNNY FLORIDA!

Who says your Hollywood dreams

have to retire when you do?

JCFilms Studios is kicking off its FIRST On-Set Movie Experience of 2027 with The Gathering Place, a heartwarming and hilarious new feature film starring Kevin Sorbo, filming January 22–25 in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida!

The movie follows a colorful and lovable group of seniors at a Florida activity center where friendships bloom, romances spark, bingo gets surprisingly competitive, and everyone seems to have an opinion about everything! But when their beloved center is threatened, this unlikely group of friends must come together to save the place that has given them friendship, purpose, and a new lease on life.

AND WE'RE LOOKING FOR STARS OVER 50!

Did you act in high school? Perform in community theater? Always dream of being in a movie? Or are you simply tired of golf, pickleball, early-bird dinners, and watching reruns of Matlock? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

JCFilms is inviting adults in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond to join us for four exciting days on a real movie set! Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside Kevin Sorbo, take part in scenes, meet professional filmmakers, and experience what it's really like to make a feature film.

And the best part? NO ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Whether you're a retired teacher, former business owner, grandparent, or someone who hasn't stepped on a stage since the 1978 high school Christmas play, we want you!

"This film is really about celebrating people who still have so much life, laughter, and adventure ahead of them," said JCFilms director Jason Campbell. "We want to give people who may have spent their entire lives working and raising families a chance to do something completely different — like becoming a movie star!"

The four-day experience will combine professional filmmaking, new friendships, plenty of laughter, and the beautiful Florida sunshine. And who knows? You might just discover your next great passion!

Because retirement doesn't mean slowing down… it might just mean it's time for your CLOSE-UP!
