Aaron Schwartzbart to Appear in JC Films’ Latest Production Featuring Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain.
JCFilms is pleased to announce an agreement with MotorGospel Ministries for Aaron Schwartzbart to make a cameo appearance in JC Films’ latest production “Chosen”.
Featuring Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain, “Chosen” brings to life the beautiful and lasting impact that adoption can have. It is the latest milestone in producer Jason Campbell’s mission to give exposure to grass-roots charities that are doing good and doing well in the community.
Schwartzbart’s cameo will highlight an adoption success story that is near to his heart.
Nick Bridges is a 17-year-old phenom at racetracks throughout the Western United States. In his apprenticeship as Assistant Crew Chief with MotorGospel Ministries, he brought Schwartzbart a win in the John 3:16 racecar at Fontana’s Auto Club Speedway.
Nick never knew his parents. He was adopted from Siberia at 12 months old by a Los Angeles couple that traveled 10,000 miles to bring him home. They had no way of knowing when they met this little baby in a Siberian orphanage that he would be a star one day in the Southern California car culture.
Schwartzbart left the space program in 2012 after 28 years as a rocket scientist to devote full time to the ministry. With degrees in physics and theology, he is a 5-time champion race car driver and an ordained minister.
As President and Pastor of MotorGospel Ministries, he leads a 501c3 anti-street-racing campaign in cooperation with the Los Angeles Police Department, LA City Councilmember John Lee and La Mirada Mayor Emeritus John Lewis. His successful rehabilitation of former street-racers has been featured in print, broadcast and social media including CBS, ABC, NBC, Telemundo, Noticias 34, Fox, Sky News, Spectrum One News, Good News TV/Santa Barbara TV, LAPDONLINE, the Daily News, the OC Register, and Hip Hop Weekly.
Together with long-time production partner Neil Newman (Shoot Cut Deliver), Schwartzbart has produced/directed over 20 documentary shorts highlighting his potentially-life-saving work in the community. The two have received countless laurels since MotorGospel Ministries was founded in 2001. The collaboration with JC Films to feature Newman’s epic cinematography with the likes of Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain is a major milestone.
