Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms explains the reason for creating this ministry channel, “Families need honest, safe, and wholesome entertainment. They want programming with no surprises and suitable to be streamed in heaven.”
And according to a recent Christian research it is becoming obviously clear that families are desiring more safe content and finding quality, faith-based entertainment for kids is a huge challenge.
In addition, Campbell hopes JCFilms Plus will become the premier platform for the growing number of independent Christian filmmakers.
“As more faith films are being produced, it’s time we have our own digital platform,” Campbell said.
JC+ is also going to serve as the distribution platform for the ministry’s Production Clubs. These nationwide film clubs will produce over twenty films in the next year.
Campbell believes it’s going to take this next generation of Christian filmmakers to elevate faith films to be accepted normalcy in today’s culture.
JC+ hopes to change the distribution narrative for faith filmmakers as more and more faith content is being buried in popular streaming services.
Campbell explains, “When pro-family and pro-faith films become a threat to our culture, you can bet this type of content will be vanished from mainstream streaming.”
JC+ has already been endorsed by top Christian leaders in film, music and church leadership. The video-on-demand platform is set to launch in June 2022.
