When I was kid, I loved martial arts movies. From Bruce Lee to The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I watched them all. Today, this beloved martial arts subgenre is making a comeback and JCFilms Studios wants to take a kick at it!
In August 2023, the North Georgia JCFilms Studios Production Club will be producing our first martial arts movie. And its storyline combines competitive karate with Jesus!
THE KARATE PRINCESS is a redemptive, inspiring, faith-family movie that tells the story of a successful businesswoman that returns home to take over her father’s Dojo. Eventually, her involvement triggers a rival martial arts studio to competition.
The film is much bigger than just flying kicks and well choreographed fighting sequences, THE KARATE PRINCESS is a darling story about relationships, emotions, and internal struggles.
The film will be in partnership with Seo's Martial Arts Academy and will be using several of their studio locations in the production. Production is set to begin in August 2023 and stars Dean Cain, Eddie McClintock and Jana Lee Hamblin.
