THE BEST WAY TO LEARN CHRISTIAN FILMMAKING? DO IT. That’s why this year’s Adult Film Camp is all about Casting & Crewing Up!
Last year, JCFilms Studios hosted its first-ever Adult Film Camp, and it was a huge success—over 50 participants from around the world joined us for four unforgettable days of faith-filled, hands-on filmmaking.
This one-of-a-kind experience was created to help people of faith step out of the pews and onto a movie set. Whether you’re passionate about acting, writing, directing, or producing, this camp is designed to equip you with real-world production skills and even give you the opportunity to create your own short film.
And this year—we’re taking it to the next level.
2025 ADULT FILM CAMP: CASTING & CREWING UP!
In this all-new challenge, campers will form five production teams, and each team will create an original five-minute short film, from concept to final credits.
You’ll:
Write a short screenplay
Cast and direct actors
Produce your film alongside professionals
Learn from experienced cinematographers and producers
Use cinema-quality cameras, lighting, props, and even costumes

SPECIAL GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE:
Kevin Sorbo
Best known for his iconic role as Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Kevin Sorbo has become a powerful voice in faith-based entertainment. His film credits include God’s Not Dead, Let There Be Light, and dozens more that inspire and uplift audiences around the world.
Karen Abercrombie
Award-winning actress and writer, Karen is best known for her unforgettable role as Miss Clara in War Room. She is a bold advocate for faith-based films and continues to shape the genre through storytelling that touches the heart.
Campers will have the incredible opportunity to learn from Kevin and Karen, both of whom will be actively participating in this year’s camp and serving as mentors and producers on our short films.
