Kevin Sorbo to appear in a new Christian teen comedy film about teen self-image challenges.

Let’s face it; we live in an age that seems to be preoccupied with self-image. In fact, the Oxford Dictionary recently declared “selfie” the Word of the Year.

Did you know, that roughly 90% of teens suffer from a low self-image? And that’s extremely dangerous because a low self-image has been linked to violent behavior, school dropout rates, teenage pregnancy, and even suicide.

Our culture is obsessed with measuring up. From the highly filtered highlight reel we’re exposed to on social media to the unrealistic, airbrushed images we see in movie and magazines, our society is taking notice.

That’s why JCFilms Studio is tackling this issue with a new faith movie called ‘The Biggest Loser’ to help teens overcome, fear, shame, worry & anxiety and remind them that God is nowhere near done with them yet.

Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms explains, “We need to challenge this generation that God uniquely created them, and HE will reveal your purpose and equip you to ROCK IT in His perfect time.”

The film is in partnership with 5Th Gear Fitness Center in Brandon, FL and production is scheduled to begin in February 2022. The film will feature actor Kevin Sorbo, from the iconic television show Hercules.
