The goal is to make a film to help curb the fear as well as celebrate the many heroes behind the pandemic.

The first of these films is completed and titled, CORONAVIRUS: Patient Zero and is inspired by the actual events of early January 2020, when a young girl enters an urgent-care clinic in a suburb north of Seattle with a slightly elevated temperature and a cough she’d developed from a family trip to Wuhan, China.

Coronavirus: Patient Zero is set to be released on Amazon Prime on May 15, 2020. The purpose of these films is to help kids better understand the virus. “A lot of kids are scared, mine are… so, we wanted to make a film to help curve that fear as well as celebrate the many heroes behind the pandemic,” said A trailer of the film can be seen at: https://www.jcfilms.org/series

CORONAVIRUS: Patient Zero

After the clinic submitted her nasal and throat swabs, the results alerted the CDC and other government agencies immediately shutting down the clinic. As health officials attempt to locate the more than 120 people who’d come in contact with her, it becomes obvious the virus is moving faster than the efforts to contain it.

The story in the film takes place at an Urgent Care Center in Kirkland, Washington and loosely follows the true narrative on how the Coronavirus came to America. To learn more about the film please contact Jason Campbell at 304-906-5957 or Jason@JCFilms.org
