Everything We Need brings families together in Bridgeport, West Virginia, November 20–23 for a one-of-a-kind On-Set Movie Experience centered on faith, family and the people who matter most.

This Thanksgiving season, JCFilms Studios is inviting families from across America to come together for something they may never have imagined doing together: making a feature film with Kevin Sorbo.

Production of the new faith-based feature film Everything We Need is scheduled for November 20–23, 2026, in Bridgeport, West Virginia, the weekend immediately before Thanksgiving.

Starring Kevin Sorbo, David Perez and Larra Donaldson, Everything We Need is inspired by the true story of a young family whose lives change in an instant when a beloved husband, father and schoolteacher is critically injured in a devastating motorcycle accident. What follows is a powerful journey of faith, healing, marriage, community and a family discovering what truly matters when everything else is stripped away.

And that message inspired JCFilms to approach this production differently.

Instead of simply making a movie about family, JCFilms wants families to help make it.

“This is the weekend before Thanksgiving, when all of us are already thinking about what we're thankful for and the people we love,” said JCFilms President Jason Campbell. “So we thought, why not bring families together and let them make a movie about family?

A FAMILY ON-SET MOVIE EXPERIENCE

The Everything We Need On-Set Movie Experience is being organized specifically to make it possible for entire families to participate together.

Rather than designing the weekend around individual actors, JCFilms is opening this experience to families as a group, creating a unique opportunity for parents, children and even grandparents to step onto a professional movie set together.

Participating families will become part of the actual production, with opportunities for speaking roles, IMDb credits, on-set meals, hotel accommodations, professional acting direction, behind-the-scenes access, photos, and the chance to work alongside Kevin Sorbo and the JCFilms production team.

No previous acting experience is required.

BEFORE THE TURKEY, MAKE A MOVIE

JCFilms hopes the timing of the production will make the weekend an especially memorable beginning to the Thanksgiving season.

Families can come to West Virginia the weekend before Thanksgiving, put away the phones and everyday distractions, meet other families from around the country and spend several days creating something together.

Then they can head home for Thanksgiving with a pretty unusual answer to the question: “What did you do last weekend?” We made a movie with Kevin Sorbo.
