You've heard it before: Texting and driving can be deadly. But that doesn't stop drivers from doing it. Now, the JCFilms Jacksonville Florida Production Club is confronting this issue with a new faith film featuring actor Dean Cain.
The film is called BLIND DRIVE AHEAD is the epic journey of a teenage boy who had his shining future all planned out. But when his peer’s acceptance became more important than his goals, he paid the ultimate price, and his life was changed forever.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association, nine people are killed and more than 1,000 are injured daily in incidents reported as distraction-related crashes in the United States.
The producers of the film hope the message will get out about teenage distractive decisions while driving and the deadly consequences.
BLIND DRIVE AHEAD is a partnership film with a Florida based non-profit L.E.A.D.D (Law Enforcement Against Distracted Driving) and is scheduled to start production in the Summer of 2022 in Jacksonville, FL.
