JC Films Announces Casting Call for The Holy One. Bring Your Faith, Your Smile, and Maybe a Golf Hat

Las Vegas, NV — Sometimes you find your purpose in a church pew. Sometimes you find it in your community. And sometimes… you find it standing on a golf range trying not to look directly into the camera.
JCFilms is excited to announce a casting call for background extras for its faith-based, inspirational feature film The Holy One, and the Las Vegas community is invited to join the fun and yes, you will be on screen.
Written and directed by Dean Cain and starring Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, The Holy One is a heartfelt story of redemption, second chances, and a fallen golfer who discovers that grace can show up even when your scorecard, and your life, needs a serious do-over.
The majority of the film was shot during the past summer, and now the production team is returning to Las Vegas to film final pickup scenes that will help bring this powerful story home.
Casting Call Details (a.k.a. Your Hollywood Moment):
Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2026 (7PM - 9PM)
Time Commitment: Approximately three hours (just enough time to become a movie star, call your family, and still make dinner)

JCFilms is seeking background extras only - no acting experience required. If you can walk, stand, smile, and pretend you’ve always belonged on a movie set, you’re already qualified. Golf skills are optional. Enthusiasm is encouraged. Patience is appreciated. Bragging rights are guaranteed.
