As JCFilms Studios grows so does our need for more talent. With over 20 faith-based films being slated for production this year, JCFilms Studios is offering an experimental casting method called REVERSE CASTING.
Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms explains, “Reverse Casting is a new way in casting films by opening more opportunities for people of faith to get involved in faith films. We are bypassing the traditional audition model and directly finding those that have a desire to be involved.”
This experimental audition method allows those interested to first hear about the film project to help them better decide their involvement. The goal is to give as many first-time actors as possible a chance in being in a film.
The first of these REVERSE CASTING CALLS is going to be focused on several of the Studio’s upcoming summer film projects including their movie and television series ‘AFTERMATH’ and ‘THE LAST WAR.’ Both of these projects are slated for production in June 2024 in Bridgeport, WV and will feature actor Dean Cain.
Campbell said, "this is not a guarantee that you will be cast in the film, but it's a very, very good chance. They just need to show up."
This new program does come with a few restrictions:
Participants on this pilot casting call must be over the age of 18. And those that have appeared in previous JCFilms movies are encouraged to attend.
This program is not available at other JCFilms Studios Casting Calls or other Production Clubs.
Participants must attend the CASTING CALL on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2PM the Courtyard Marriott – Bridgeport. 30 Shaner Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330. This casting event will only last ONE HOUR.
Participants must be a current member of JC+.
